The RHA karaoke machine is available for rental to any on-campus group. The rental is a package deal, including large club-style speakers, a television, and 5 microphones. The best part is that in addition, we have 242 CDs in our collection, for a total of 3863 songs!! Our online searchable database of all the songs makes selection a breeze (click the links to the left to see). This means that if your event is taking place in a room with ethernet and you have access to a laptop, you can use the search engine, rather than sorting through the physical CDs.

• A $50 deposit is required at the time of rental (check made out to MSU Residence Halls Association or cash only).
• NEW: A $10 non-refundable fee is due at the time of rental. (This means that you'll pay $60 when you recieve the machine and will recieve $50 back when you return it.)
• You will be given a detailed receipt and a tutorial of how the machine works.
• RHA can usually provide transportation of the machine to and from the event as well as setup and breakdown (though these are not guaranteed services).
• Upon return of the machine, the $50 will be refunded (provided all equipment is present and in working order).
• All karaoke rental is governed by Article VII of the RHA Bylaws.
• All reservation requests must be made 7 days before the date of the event.

Some of the music in our collection contains material that may be offensive to some individuals. It is the responsibility of the individuals and organizations running the karaoke event to ensure that such material is not inappropriate for the event.
